ABOUT LLOYD BRISTOW

Hi, I'm Lloyd Bristow. I grew up on farms in rural South Africa, surrounded by animals. In my childhood years, I developed a natural affinity for and an understanding of animals, in particular that of dogs.

Dogs have become my passion. Their energy, dedication and love of life are prevalent in my life. I am motivated to the betterment, training, well-being and education of and about dogs. In my training methods I adopt the attitude of making training fun for both the handler and dog, also positively influencing both party's to live life with ZEST.

I am a driven, success orientated person who has competed with my dogs for 15 years (although I have been working with them my whole life) at top levels.

I have won all major National titles in Jumping and Agility. I have on numerous occasions and with various dogs competed at the FCI Agility World Championships. I have also been involved in obedience, dancing, working trials, sheep herding, breeding, general training, problem solving and have worked in the entertainment industry with my dogs. Further more, I am very involved in the education about dogs. I frequently present training seminars, both for handlers and also for aspiring judges.

I have worked with all sorts of dogs and people. I believe that within each one (both man and dog) is a potential CHAMPION!
